Throughout my entire life, I’ve always had the ability to push the boundaries and challenge myself to be better. I never settled for anything less than my best. It was always about the next bigger and better challenge. I went from receiving an academic and athletic scholarship to play Division 1 soccer, to securing a Corporate Finance position at a large well-known corporation, to being accepted into their leadership development program, to deciding that wasn’t enough and completed my MBA part-time at night and eventually transitioned to a managerial position with a younger, more entrepreneurial company.

While most would view this as a successful life, I found my internal drive and motivation slipping away. I didn’t feel fulfilled or passionate, I felt like I was just going through the motions and doing what I was expected to do. I knew that something had to change because I refused to accept the fact that I seemed to be losing my spark. And it was more than my spark, I was losing myself.

With that being said, I still was at a loss. I didn’t know what to do and I didn’t know how to do it. I knew I needed a change but wanted to make sure that change was fully thought through before I left what others would view as such an amazing opportunity.

And then one day, out of nowhere, I found out that my company was downsizing and that I was to pack up my belongings and turn in my badge. This was happening to someone like me? This can’t be right. While it was a hard pill to swallow at first and a bit of an ego blow, I remember feeling a sense of freedom on the drive home. It was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I.was.happy. It was like the universe saying, I know you’d never have the balls to do this yourself, but I know you are capable of great things – so be free. Don’t succumb to societal norms and live life slaving away at what you think you should be doing. Do what is in your heart. Find your passion. Find your power. And live life on your own terms.

And the rest is history. I became a Beachbody Coach a few months later and knew this was where I belonged. I felt at home. I am now a part of a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about inspiring others to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. I am able to fuse my business background with my innate passion for being healthy, fit and helping others achieve everything they want out of life.

P.S. This is just the beginning of my story and I want as many of you to join me in this mission as possible. We are all capable of greatness and deserve to live a life where we can be unapologetically ourselves.

I AM ENDLESSLY CREATING MYSELF.
