After finishing many years of sports and collegiate soccer, I had finally entered the real world without a constant mandatory regimen of workouts. After college in my early 20's, I would run 3-5 miles 4x/week and lift intermittently at my own leisure. I was also able to eat whatever I wanted, while still maintaining the weight and figure I desired. As time has progressed, I found myself working out longer, running further, and would attempt to change my diet, but I still would be at a plateau and not see the results I wanted.

My good friend Danielle became a coach for Beachbody and introduced me to the 3-Day Refresh. I absolutely loved it! I felt that it helped me want to eat cleaner, and helped drive me to work out more. I then tried Shakeology, and I can honestly say that I can’t see my mornings without it! Not only does it give me a lot of energy and helps keep me full, it tastes great too! Chocolate and Café Latte are my favs! 

Because of my love for the 3-Day Refresh and the Shakeology, I decided to try the 21 Day Fix – and I have to say, I'm so happy I did! It really taught me proper portion control, and helped zone in on specific muscles that running alone wasn't addressing. I decided to try out 21 Day Fix because I wasn't feeling myself. I was caring way too much about my weight and I would feel guilty at any meal that wasn't "healthy". I knew I had to make some changes not only in my diet and work out but in my attitude. My favorite part about the program is that I learned how to eat healthy without being deprived of all the foods I love - even chocolate! I stopped drinking coffee during my 21 days to try to get the best results and I was amazed with how much more energy I had without having any coffee. After the 21 days, I ended up losing 8 pounds. My goal was to lose 5 lbs but I did more than that and gained a ton of confidence throughout the way. The videos are great and I love doing them because they are quick but still a challenge! I love Beachbody because every coach and trainer motivates you to be the best YOU! No matter where you are in your fitness journey, you will gain confidence and find happiness in yourself with Danielle's support. I've only done one round of 21 Day Fix so far but it was enough for me to learn when I am over doing my exercise or diet. I am a runner and running has taken up my time for the past few months while training for my first marathon but I am excited to hopefully try the 21 Day Fix Extreme in the near future!

Before starting 21 day fix I was a little nervous since it wasn't my normal workout routine. I was used to doing cardio on a treadmill or elliptical and just lifting weights. After a week into it, I fell in love! Even though it's only 30 minutes a day, it really kicked my butt! After week 2 I was doubling work outs because I was just enjoying it! Once day 21 came around, I was shocked by the results! And now I continue to incorporate 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme moves in my every day workouts! I cannot thank Danielle enough for giving me the opportunity to join her challenge group. It has truly changed the way I think about my fitness and nutrition.
